TecspecsAcrylonitrile butadiene styrene,referred to as ABS, is a terpolymer polymerized from three components of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. It is a general term for an impact-resistant thermoplastic resin. The appearance is opaque and ivory-colored pellets, non-toxic, tasteless, and low water absorption. Its products can be painted in various colors and have a high gloss of 90%. ABS has excellent comprehensive physical and mechanical properties, good low temperature impact resistance, and dimensional stability. Good electrical properties, wear resistance, chemical resistance, dyeability, finished product processing and mechanical processing. As one of the common types of plastic materials, it is a thermoplastic polymer material with high strength, strong toughness and easy processing. Its glass transition temperature is about 105°C (221°F).

ABS is amorphous and therefore has no true melting point. ABS plastics are widely used in machinery, electrical, textile, automobile, aircraft, ship and other manufacturing industries and chemical industry.
